I’m not vegan, and I’m not gluten-free. As much as my partner tries to make me believe that I’m both, it’s a lie. I will say, though, that I feel better when I don’t eat gluten or dairy. I’m a baker (professionally, now!) and I know how things are supposed to taste and feel when they’re right. I’m also on a wicked budget. I like buying fancy things like extracts and decorating tools, but I’m also really good at making do with a broken spatula and a zip-loc bag.
